Miche – World ChampionshipAfter winning the 2009 Road World Championship in Mendrisio, Miche gained another World Prize in the Cyclocross Under 23 category. Polish rider Pawel Szczepaniak won last Saturday, on January the 30th, the gold prize for Under 23 in the Cyclocross World Championship for season 2009/2010, contest that took place in Tabor - Czech Republic. This racer rides for Dutch Team Revor Baboco that uses the Miche SWR Full Carbon Cross wheels. For this Team rides also Erwin Vervecken that won the Elite Cyclocross World Championship more than once. Team Revor Baboco is a young Team that gain a lot of image in this cyclocross season. The victory of Niemec that arrived alone in the second stage, allowed him to dress the tour leader jersey and to hold it until the end of the tour. Good results also from the other racers of the Team, that worked together for leading the general classification and for aiming day by day to the stage result. The Team involved in France from 18th to 21st June was composed by Niemec, Giunti, Muto, Moletta, Marczinsky, Garcia Rena, Carvjal, Szczawinski, and the other teams that attended the race on the Pyrenees were AG2R La Mondiale, Agritubel, Auber 93, BBOX Bouygues Telecom, Besson Chaussures - Sojasun, Bretagne - Schuller, Caisse D'Epargne, Ceramica Flaminia - Bossini Docce, Cofidis Le Credit En Ligne, Francaise Des Jeux. 1st stage Pau - Pau: 13th Szczawinski at the sprint 1st Niemec, 14th Giunti, 34th Marczinsky.

Team Miche Silvercross Selle Italia attended Route du Sud where it had good results.



PAMPEAGO (Trento) - Under a snow and wind storm, the second stage of 33rd Tour of Trentino with the arrival at 1.757mt height of Pampeago awarded yesterday MICHE - SILVER CROSS - SELLE ITALIA Team and its Polish athlete Przemyezlaw Niemec, daily winner with the Slowene Brajkovic (classified second yesterday in the time trial just behind Klöden) at first place in the general classifies. Protagonist in the final climbing of Pampeago (8km with top slope 16%) Niemec beated Ivan Basso that was inceasing speed from the beginnin of the climbing and only Niemec restisted behind him.
