Hillbrick Racing Frames were supporters of Tony
Abbott - Federal Minister of Health in the Pollie
Pedal ride which raised funds for research into childhood Leukemia at Westmead
Hospital. The research is undertaken by the Westmead Millenium Institute and
is a world leader in medical research.
Hillbrick racing frames supplied Tony Abbott with a bike for the journey
which was then auctioned off after the ride raising more funds. The bike
is currently on display at Westmead Millenium Institute.
Pollie Pedal is an annual long distance ride undertaken by various Politicians.

Extra note: March 2005. The Pollie pedal raised the remaining
$160,000 to complete the required $300,000 needed to fitout of the new
research institute.
