BEN MIKIC FOUNDATION FOR YOUNG CYCLISTSOn April 27th 2007, Ben Mikic, a talented 15 year old racing cyclist from Mittagong, NSW, was tragically killed in a collision with a car during a training ride. Ben had proved himself as a gifted athlete in Road, Track and Mountain Bike Racing. Ben's life goal, like many teenage cyclists was to ride in The Tour de France. Unfortunately, his gifted athletic ability was not enough to keep him safe on the road.

Meet at the Ben Mikic Foundation Tent on Ferndale Oval at 1.45 pm ready to start at 2pm on Saturday 8th November and learn many skills log crossing, wheelies, negotiating obstacles, jumps, how to ride berms and build confidence riding uphill and downhill.
